Sales Manager – International

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, your main responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for and manage commercial activities outside UK.
  • Develop and execute the strategy, in line with the company’s broader business strategy. Deploy tactics focused on profitability and revenue growth.
  • Set targets for distributor management and development, follow up distributor performance against individual targets, replace non-performing distributors, focus on growth in key markets, increase market penetration through new distributors.
  • Produce quotes for products and solutions, involving other relevant functions of the company.
  • Identify and attend suitable exhibitions, attend key sales meetings with distributors.
  • Global international travel to be expected.
  • Based in the UK.

 

Your profile :

  • Solid experience from international sales of engineering solutions / products, preferably from an SME environment. Experience from material handling is an advantage.
  • Relevant technical education.
  • Passionate about selling technical solutions / products.
  • Track record of excellent results developing sales and profitability. Motivated by the challenge to continuously grow your activity.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft applications, CRM’s and ERP software.
  • Energetic and forward thinking, with a can do attitude.
  • Able to build trust by operating with integrity, discretion and professionalism in the role.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and hard-working, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Teamwork focused, empowering and supporting others.
  • Good communicator both in writing and in speaking, at all levels of stakeholders.
  • Living in the UK, within two hours from an international airport.
