Contura, one of the leading premium brands within the NIBE Stoves division, is known for Scandinavian design and innovative, sustainable fireplaces and stoves. With ambitious growth targets in the DACH region, Contura is now looking to recruit a:
Country Sales Manager DACH (m/f/d)
Reporting to the Contura Sales Director Europe based in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for all commercial activities across the DACH region. You will directly manage a team of 3 Area Sales Managers in Germany and provide leadership to the Senior Sales Representative overseeing Austria and Switzerland (also based in Germany).
You are both a strategic thinker and hands-on commercial leader — someone who builds strong teams, drives sales execution, and nurtures customer relationships. Your main responsibilities are:
- Take full commercial responsibility for Contura in the DACH region.
- Implement regional sales plans aligned with group strategy, focused on profitable growth.
- Strengthen dealer and distribution networks through regular field presence.
- Ensure effective use of CRM tools, pipeline forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with HQ functions (Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service).
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support informed decision-making.
- Travel is to be expected throughout the DACH region and occasionally internationally.
Your profile
With a commercial or technical higher education, you have proven leadership experience managing small to mid-sized sales teams. You have acquired solid professional experience in sales of technical products and concepts, preferably with technical/durable consumer products. You have a background in dealer/distributor networks, ideally in building materials, heating, or home/living sectors.
Entrepreneur at heart, you are passionate about selling technical products & concepts. You have achieved excellent results in the past on the development of turnover and profitability, and you are motivated by the challenge to continuously grow your activity. You are recognized as an excellent leader with the ability to motivate, inspire, involve and unite a team. You are a good communicator creating strong relationships internally and with Key Customers and Partners.
Your German and English is fluent, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are charismatic, enthusiastic, pragmatic, proactive and dynamic, with strong communication and negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
You are ideally living near Frankfurt (or ready to move there) with willingness to travel across the DACH region.
