Sales Executive RV aftermarket
The purpose of this role is to manage an existing customer portfolio in North West & South East (to cover Wales, Lake District & East Anglia) to maximise sales productivity and grow new business opportunities in the RV Aftermarket Sales business vertical. Specialising in AC and ventilation, refrigeration and hot & cooking products (amongst other product groups), the RV Aftermarket business is a key area of expansion for Dometic in the UK as they strive to grow and develop their dealership and partner network.
Reporting to the UK Service Sales Manager your main responsibilities are:
• Manage existing and introduce new customers; broaden customer awareness of Dometic products within the territory to all key customers and prospects within RV/AM.
• Increase sales and range build with existing aftermarket retailers, e-commerce dealers, installing dealers, distributors and special vehicle manufacturers.
• Build new sales and customers in the rapidly growing retail sector.
• Manage customer base within a CRM system and introduce new customers to it.
• Provide technical product and installation training.
• Travel to visit customers and prospects in your territory up to 4 days a week.
Your profile
• Proven track record within B2B and B2C vehicle aftermarket field sales and account management.
• Experience selling technical products and services, preferably within the special vehicle manufacturing sector.
• Experience of selling and/or working with all types of customer groups – wholesalers, dealerships, e-commerce and installing customers.
• Familiar with special/recreational vehicle manufacturing sector and operators within it.
• Familiar with the most effective media models and exhibitions to attract potential clients.
• Contract negotiation skills, strong face-to-face sales acumen and drive, confidence in managing customers.
• Competent written and verbal presentation skills, ability to present to Customers.
• Familiar with the most effective media models and exhibitions to attract potential clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on own initiative, ability to self-manage sales territory properly and efficiently.
• Ideally living either in Wales/the Lake District or in Southeast England, or prepared to move there.
