Talent Acquisition & Talent Development Manager EMEA (m/f)
Position:
The Talent Acquisition & Talent Development Manager for EMEA is responsible for overseeing regional talent sourcing, acquisition, and development initiatives. This role ensures that the organization attracts, retains, and develops high-potential talent through effective and qualitative processes and strategic initiatives.
The position is based north of Münster, Germany. You will report directly to the VP HR EMEA, based in Europe.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and execute the talent acquisition agenda for EMEA, ensuring the attraction of top talent across all functions in line with business current and future needs, including managing the recruitment supplier base, costs and process quality
- Collaborate closely with the Group TA resources to ensure our global recruitment process is followed and developed and that we foster a strong mindset where recruitment is seen as one of our biggest priorities and a very important opportunity to build a winning team.
- Lead and execute the talent development priorities for the Business Area and support implementation of regional talent development programs.
- Oversee and manage the internal Academy platform to support continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to identify talent and competency gaps and succession planning needs.
- Monitor and report on talent metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Actively contribute to Group and/or EMEA HR projects; e.g. employer branding, trainee program development and implementation or upskilling or reskilling requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in executive search. Experience from a top tier global search firm e.g. Spencer Stuart, Russell Reynolds, Heidrick & Struggles or equivalent a very strong plus.
- Minimum 8 years work experience with proven experience in talent acquisition and/or talent development in a regional or multi-country setting. Experience from a hands-on business or leadership role a strong plus.
- Relevant Master, or minimum BSc, from a well-reputed university, a business degree is a plus.
- Relevant HR certification or MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of learning and development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt strategies to diverse cultural environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the personal presence and assertiveness to, in a positive way, coach and challenge also very senior leaders to ensure we aim for excellence both in recruiting and in growing and developing our leaders.
- Fluent English (both spoken and written). Good proficiency in German is highly meriting.
